Questions
What is a fractional executive?
A senior leader who works with your company part-time, usually one to three days a week, instead of as a full-time employee.
What does it cost?
Operators set their own rates and you see them before you meet anyone. The Fraconomy Rate Benchmark puts one day a week at about SGD 6,500 to 8,500 a month for a CFO, SGD 6,000 to 8,000 for a CTO, SGD 5,000 to 6,500 for a COO and SGD 4,000 to 5,500 for a CMO. Two days a week costs roughly twice that. The brief is free.
How is the Fraconomy Rate Benchmark worked out?
We start from what an experienced full-time leader costs in Singapore: salary survey and Ministry of Manpower pay for the role over 13 months, plus employer CPF. We divide that by 230 working days, then add 20 to 50 percent for fractional terms, because operators carry their own benefits, gaps between clients and risk. We review it every quarter.
What happens to what I type?
Your note is sent to an AI model through Vercel's AI Gateway to draft the brief. We keep your name, email and the brief so we can send you a copy and follow up about a shortlist. We do not share them or sell them. Reply to any email from us to have them deleted.
How do you vet operators?
We check track record, speak to references and interview each operator on outcomes they have delivered before they are listed.
Where do you work?
Singapore and Southeast Asia today. Elsewhere, send a brief anyway and pick your market. We will contact you when it opens.
How is a fractional executive different from an interim one?
An interim executive usually works full-time for a fixed period, often to cover a gap. A fractional executive works part-time, often one to three days a week, for as long as it is useful.
How quickly can I get a shortlist?
We aim to send two or three operators who have solved the problem before within 5 working days of your brief.
Can it turn into a full-time hire?
Yes. Some engagements do. We agree the terms openly when that happens.
